High Season Lawn Treatment

High Season – Summer lawn treatment

The 3rd treatment is an advanced liquid application that is formulated designed to strengthen turf and increase the plant’s ability to withstand stress plus the added bonus of colour enhancing (rapid greening).

But When applied at higher rates may also cause detrimental effects to moss populations. (Blackening and killing moss ready for scarification removal)

Benefits

1. GREENS GRASS

All plants need iron. Without it, a plant cannot produce chlorophyll, (chlorophyll provides the plant with oxygen and this is what gives it that healthy green colouring).

Whilst promotes beautiful green grass, which is what you want for a vibrant, lush lawn.

2. STRENGTHENS

Iron will make your grass healthier and therefore stronger. This gives it a much better chance of being able to fight off drought in the summer and frost in the winter. Stronger grass is also more resistant to disease.

3. HARDENERS TURF

Iron encourages grass roots to grow strong and healthy.

Therefore making it stronger to fight pests, diseases and drought.

4. DETERS PESTS

Iron makes your soil more acidic which deters pests such as chafer grubs and leather jackets. Because it makes grass stronger, it puts it in a much better position to resist this kind of pests.

5. DETERS WEEDS

This is one of the greatest advantages of iron its ability to get rid of and then deter weeds and moss. It will blacken and kill moss which can then be scarified out. Healthy grass is also more resistant to weeds – weeds tend to be a bully of a plant so they’ll only take root when they can muscle out other plants. The stronger your grass is, the better it’ll be able to combat weeds.

Because of all these benefits, it means that using iron on your grass will not only make it look better but will help it to remain healthy and strong. And simply adjusting the dilution rate to achieve the result you’re after (less for greening, more for turf hardening) all just added to water.
